Embryology - An Eggciting Adventure

The Colusa County 4-H Youth Development Program is pleased to offer excellent 4-H educational projects for your students. We have several projects to choose from. All of these projects will be delivered directly to you and picked up upon completion. “Embryology – An Eggciting Adventure” is a 21 day life science project designed for grades 4-8 to teach your students about the basic principles of animal reproduction and the process of incubation. Through a hands-on learning experience of hatching live chicks in your classroom!

Included in this kit:

• One complete incubator set up with turners,
• Egg candler
• Brooder with heat light
• Chick food and feeder
• Chick waterer
• Additional educational booklets, readers, and videos.
• *Teachers are responsible for obtaining their own fertilized eggs for this project.
